PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (Kalbe) won The Silver Winner award in the Creating Shared Value Excellence category at the 2025 Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Award (ICSA) held at KEK Industropolis Batang, Central Java.
At the event organised by Olahkarsa and ACEXI, Kalbe highlighted the theme of creating shared value through social support for red ginger farmers via education and educational contributions for farming families, in line with the management of red ginger raw material procurement for production needs, as part of a collaborative programme that has been running for over five years.
‘Creating shared value through the development of the red ginger ecosystem demonstrates Kalbe's commitment to supporting sustainable business processes while improving the quality of life for local farmers,’ emphasised Abi Nisaka, Head of Corporate Sustainability at Kalbe.
The ICSA 2025 awards were participated in by over 280 companies across more than 17 nomination categories.
